Let's Paint Your Story

Have an ornament idea stuck in your head, that you can't find anywhere else? Tell me about it! Maybe it's a pet, a favorite place, a family tradition or one of those small moments you never want to forget.

That's what Painted Stories means to me- taking the people, places and memories that matter to you and turning them into something you can hold onto. A little piece of your story hand painted for you to keep or gift to someone you love.

Because I draw and paint each ornament myself, I can only accept a limited number of fully custom orders. Sending a request is free and doesn't guarantee I'll be able to accept it. I will look over your request within 48 hours and decide whether I can bring it to life and email you with the price and what happens next.

How Custom Orders Work

Tell Me Your Idea : Fill out the request form in as much detail as possible. Including anything that is important to your personal story. Remember this part is free and doesn't require a purchase.
I Look It Over: Within 48 hours I will review your request and decide if it is something I can bring to life. You will receive an email once I have completed my review that will include next steps.
Next Steps: If your design is not accepted I will let you know why. I will also suggest an edit that will make it possible. If the completion date you are looking for is the reason for the denial. I will offer a new completion date that you are free to deny or accept. If your design is accepted the email will include the price* based on the design, number of sides, quantity and deadline.
I'll Draw Your Design: If you decide to move forward, you'll pay a $5 nonrefundable design fee. This covers one original design concept created from your idea.
You'll Review It: I'll send you the drawing before painting begins. Your design fee includes up to two minor changes. If you want to start over with a whole new concept, another $5 design fee will be required.
I'll Paint Your Story: Once you approve the design, I'll send you an invoice for the finished ornament. Your three-week turnaround begins when the payment is received. A two-week rush option may be available for an additional $10, but it must be approved before purchase.
*Custom ornaments start at $25 total, including the $5 nonrefundable design fee. I will provide your exact price before you decide to move forward.
