Hi, I’m Ashley, the self-taught artist behind Painted Stories.

I’ve always loved creating characters, small worlds, and gifts that feel personal rather than mass-produced. Painted Stories is where my love of art and storytelling comes together—sometimes through an original design and sometimes through an ornament created especially for one person or family.

Each ornament is hand-painted by me, one at a time. I especially love creating pieces inspired by the memories people want to keep: their family, pets, favorite places, traditions, and meaningful moments. Because every piece is made by hand, no two ornaments will ever be exactly alike—and I believe that is part of what makes them special.

My creative journey has also included teaching art to children, developing original characters and story worlds, and creating personalized artwork and murals for families. Painted Stories will continue to grow alongside me, but its heart will remain the same: creating small pieces of art that tell a story and feel like they truly belong to the person receiving them.
